large redfish, red drums, and sheepsheads

October is Great!

The fishing has been great this month. The Redfish are schooled up, and the Speckled Trout are closer to home. A lot of White Trout in the area, thanks to several storm surges we have received this year. With the numbers I’ve been seeing all summer, I think November and December will offer spectacular fishing for Speckled Trout. Live shrimp fished with a drop shot has been the common method for Trout. The Redfish are just eating anything thrown at them. With the right conditions and an accurate cast, a limit of Redfish can be easily had right now. Some of the best days for the tide in November are still open. If your schedule is flexible, contact me and I’ll choose the right day.
