On Sunday, August 26, the mission was to do some scouting for New Orleans charters later this week. Speckled trout were caught at almost every stop, fishing in New Orleans. The last spot being just a few minutes from Island Marina in New Orleans, was on fire. Cast after cast produced beautiful Speckled Trout to finish off the limit. It’s only going to get better from here as the wind continues to come from the east for the next week. December has started off cold. Redfish have been easier to chase lately, and the Trout fishing should really improve in the next couple of weeks.
