The few trips that were scheduled this month were canceled due to low water temperatures. If the water temperature is under 53 degrees, I prefer not to leave the dock. I did make a scouting trip in the middle of the month, catching a limit of trout, but it was a tough bite. Not something I would want customers to work with. I’ll be taking most of February of since there is not much chance of a drastic temperature increase. If we end up working later this month we’ll most likely be in the MRGO or canals of Lakeshore Estates on Lake Pontchartrain. I am excited for warmer days ahead in March and April that will find us once again in the Biloxi Marsh, popping corks for redfish.
